How the System Operates

The embedded system follows a sophisticated operational workflow designed for reliability and precision in electric vehicle charging management.

  • Signal Reception

    When a start signal is received, the ESP32 microcontroller processes the command and activates the contractor/relay, initiating the charging process for the connected electric vehicle.

  • Power Measurement

    The PZEM-004 current sensor continuously measures the electrical parameters (voltage, current, power, energy) flowing through the system, providing accurate real-time consumption data.

  • Intelligent Control

    The system automatically manages the charging session, stopping operation when a stop signal is received, manual unplugging is detected, or subscription expiration occurs, ensuring safe and controlled operation.

  • Data Transmission

    Upon session completion, usage data collected from the PZEM-004 sensor is securely transmitted to the remote server for billing, analytics, and subscription management purposes.
